Anti-Static Treatment

Static is created by friction between carpet fibres and moving objects such as shoes or
electrical field currents from electronic equipment such as computers. It is often most
evident on nylon floors. Air conditioning and low humidity create ideal conditions for the
build up of static.
Our anti-static treatment puts down a layer of aqueous ionic charge on the surface of the
carpet to increase conductivity and eliminate the problem. In some extreme cases a
re-treatment may be necessary about 3 months later.
